Summer Reading Volunteering

Our most popular volunteer program has returned! We need volunteers for our Summer Reading Program. Summer Reading Desk Attendants help register summer readers, log hours into Beanstack, and hand out prizes. In order to be accepted into the summer reading program, students must first attend an orientation. This is a requirement, even if a student has volunteered for the program in the past. To sign up for an orientation date, students must:

  1. Fill out a general volunteer application (see above)
  2. Watch Beanstack tutorial Video 1 and Video 2
  3. Email the signed Acknowledgement of Volunteer Responsibilities agreement to Ms. Erica at emeline@mountlaurellibrary.org.

Once you’ve watched the videos and your volunteer application has been accepted, you can sign up for an orientation date using the scheduling option in your VicNet account. Log-in information will be given once your application is accepted. The first orientation date will be June 16. You will not be able to participate in the program if you email your agreement form after June 16.
