Support Us

The Friends of the Mount Laurel Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the activities and mission of the Mount Laurel Library.  The Friends provide financial support primarily through membership dues,  used book and media sales, and other fundraising events.

Volunteer for the Friends of ML Library.  We need your help!

The Library has become a community destination and continues to grow exponentially.  The Library’s mission is to inform, enrich, connect, and transform our community.  The purpose of The Friends is to maintain an association of individuals interested in fostering advocacy for The Library: in focusing public attention on library services, facilities, and needs; and in raising funds for the Library beyond the scope of township funding.  The Friends is a nonprofit organization.

Book Sale Left-Overs

All leftovers from the Friends Bi-Annual Book Sales are picked up by a single charity organization, which finds good homes for all the books not sold during the book sales. All proceeds from the book sales directly benefit the library.

Customer’s personal items dropped off in the Book Sale Donation Bins

Customers who drop off personal items in the donation area need to identify each item by title, author, hardcover or paperback, size, and the date it was dropped off. Thousands of books and media are processed in a timely manner. We will make an effort to locate the customer’s item; however, there are no guarantees it will be found. For more information, use this form to contact the Friends

The library benefits from over 4,900 volunteer hours contributed by community members each year.

Do you have skills and time to share with your library? Please complete a volunteer form. Paper forms should be delivered to the Check Out Desk.

To maintain our level of service and innovation in the community, the library depends on donations.
